What happens once I submit a license request?

Once a license request is submitted, it is sent for review by the materials team. From this stage, it may be approved, denied, or more information requested.

If denied, we will provide information as to why. If approved, an agreement will be sent to you via email to be signed. After being signed, returned, and processed, the source documents will be sent to initiate translation, publication or contextualization.

License requests, upon being received, typically are evaluated and processed within 2-3 months. Questions regarding the license status can be directed to materials@traumahealinginstitute.org.

How do I submit a strong License Request?

Our license request form will walk you through each of the questions that we take into consideration. The materials management team is assessing whether you can meet the requirements of the license and whether you have the resources to do so. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Your facilitator status
  • The master facilitators involved in the process
  • The intended usage and impact expected
  • The partners involved

Ensure you are providing the correct information while completing the license request form, as this facilitates the process.
