What are the difference between Translation, Contextualization, and Publishing Licenses?

The Trauma Healing Institute offers license request opportunities for translating, contextualization, and publishing.

Translating – This license is offered when you want to request to translate a Trauma Healing Institute material into a new language.

Contextualization – This license is offered when you are formatting the Trauma Healing Institute material to better fit your context. For example, changing the clothes, features, or style of the stories/figures to better resemble the cultural context of those reading it.

Publishing – This is when you may want to offer Trauma Healing Institute Materials for distribution, such as for sale within your church or organization.

These licenses can be requested in conjunction or separate from one another.

An application for the license is not an agreement on the part of the Trauma Healing Institute. Materials cannot be translated, contextualized, or published without a completed license agreement first. If you are interested in submitting license request, you can email materials@traumahealinginstitute.org or submit a request here.
